I’ve been a State Farm agent for over ten years, since I opened my agency’s doors in November 2014. I’m proud to serve the residents of Pismo Beach, CA and the surrounding areas, including Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Oceano, San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach and Nipomo. My agency handles everything from renters and homeowners insurance to auto insurance, life insurance and more—including financial services.

I first became interested in joining State Farm while I was working my first job out of college, and the State Farm agents I met always spoke very highly of the company. I was impressed by their high standards and the way they handled their business—always paying claims promptly, for example. After waiting a few years for an opportunity to come along, I jumped at the chance to finally open my own agency. I enjoy meeting young families and helping them figure out exactly what they need from their coverage, and I take great pride in helping people plan for the future and protect the things that matter most to them.

I grew up in Central California and moved to Australia with my family when I was still in high school. I came back home for college, though, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UC Santa Barbara. I’m married with two daughters—one a teenager and one just entering college—so life is never dull for our family. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain biking, playing guitar, snowboarding, and rooting for San Francisco’s pro baseball and football teams.

I also enjoy giving back to the community. I am Vice Chair on the board of the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation. I am past President of the Friends of Five Cities Fire Authority, a non-profit that helps provide firefighter training and equipment. I’m also a member of the Five Cities Men’s Club, which tackles projects for the benefit of our local youth—such as making repairs or building recreational facilities that local governments can’t afford.
